Ryder Cup Format

We would like to welcome and thank our new sponsor of the event, Premier Bone & Joint!  Premier will be sponsoring team polos for the event.  To guarantee your shirt size, please register by close of business on May 4th. 

 

This Ryder Cup format event will take place on Saturday, June 11th, and Sunday, June 12th.  On Saturday we will play 18 holes of four-ball (2-Man Best Ball matches) with tee times starting in the morning at 7:00 am.  We will have boxed lunch after the first round, and then begin our 18 holes of foursomes (Alt-Shot matches) with tee times starting at 1 pm*.  Finally, we will play 18 holes singles (match play) on Sunday morning. If you are considering walking vs riding, please try and walk for the AM round as carts will be limited in the AM.  

 

*OUR AFTERNOON TEE TIMES ARE TENTATIVE - WE WILL GET THE FOURSOMES OFF FOR THE SECOND ROUND WHEN THE GROUPS ARE READY TO GO, WHICH COULD BE AS EARLY AS NOON. ALT-SHOT MATCHES IN THE AFTERNOON WILL START ON THE BACK NINE. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE AND RETURN FOR YOUR EXACT TEE TIME. 

 

Captains will do Sunday pairings during lunch on Saturday.  

 

You will be a member of the same team every year. Captains will be the highest finishing player of the year on each team. Captains and teammates will draft/negotiate the assignment of new players to teams.

 

Entry Fee: $70.00 + processing fee

Your entry fee includes the following:

  • Boxed Lunch + complimentary drink.
  • Overall payout to all winning Brown or Gold team members.
  • Individual payouts for each point won (up to 3) regardless of team membership.

 

The $70 entry fee does not include green fees or cart fees. If you need to pay green fees, Jacoby has offered us a great rate of $45 for the weekend.  If you would like to ride some or all of the rounds, carts will be $10 per person, per round. Green fees and cart fees can be paid directly to Jacoby before the event.
